Sarah Butts was born and raised in Connecticut. She attended Washington University in St. Louis for her undergraduate education and completed her premedical studies at Johns Hopkins University. She graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at Tufts University School of Medicine in 2015.
 
Sarah is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed by the Oregon Medical Board. 
 
Sarah is a strong advocate for her patients. She believes in treating the whole person and empowering patients with knowledge about their individual condition. Outside of clinic, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. Her interests include traveling, being outdoors, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
